If you choose to renew or sign up for membership online, you will be directed to the online payment form after completing the membership application. Online forms will not be processed if payment is not received after the form is submitted. Please review the information below for SMEMSIC membership options.
Your annual membership in the Society provides you with the following:
- Administrative and Educational support, such as sample documents, contracts and forms.
- C.E. credits for I.C. re-licensure through professional development conferences.
- A voice that is heard in Lansing from the EMS Division to the Governor.
- Instructional malpractice and Liability insurance only provided to Society members.
- Discount on Conference fees.
- Reduced tickets and preferred membership cards to organizations such as Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. (Other organizations will be added in the future)

If you renew or purchase a membership today online it will be valid until 12/31/08. |
Standard Membership
- Requires a current, valid Michigan Instructor Coordinator License
- Carries one vote on Society matters
- May serve on the Board of Directors
- Requires payment of a $50 per year membership fee

Affiliate Membership
- For individuals interested in EMS education that are not licensed I/C's
- A non voting member
- Requires payment of a $40 per year membership fee

Student Membership
- Currently a student in an I/C program
- Free membership for the remainder of the current calendar year
- Requires payment of $50 membership fee after the first year and reverts to a Standard Membership once a valid Michigan Instructor Coordinator License is obtained.
- If you are interested in a first time student membership, please contact us for an application as it will be free for the remainder of this calendar year.
- If you are renewing a student membership from last year, the fee is $50 and you may proceed to renew online

- A non voting member
- Corporate logo advertisement in conference notebook and on our web site
- Vendor booth at both yearly professional development conferences
- Requires payment of a $300 per year membership fee
